Hey, it's nice to see you. I have a question for you. Do you have a plan for Advent? Cuz if you don't, maybe you'd like to join us because today it is the great reveal. What are we going to be doing regarding our Advent series? Every year we've done something. Today's theme or this year's theme is what? Marian apparitions. So, what does that mean? Each day throughout Advent, we will be exploring a Marian apparition and how it points us to Jesus. So, what can we expect? We can expect when you go to advent.com to start receiving Monday through Friday a daily video on a particular Marian apparition a link to the rosary uh which you can pray along with us because we're going to invite you to pray a daily rosary. Um and that's it. Pretty simple. Sign up at adventaily.com. And I just I'm really excited. I've been thinking about this series for a number of years. I don't think anyone has ever done something like this. But it seems logical because if you look in scripture, God first give gives us Mary and Mary then in turn gives us Jesus at the feast of the nativity. So it seems a logical advent meditation to to look at well God continues to send us Mary and what does she say? She always points us to Jesus at every one of her apparitions. And so it just seems right and fitting to look at what is she said about Jesus, her instructions, her warnings as a preparation for Christmas. St. Alphonsus said, "Whoever then wishes for the fruit must go to the tree. Whoever wishes for Jesus must go to Mary. And he who finds Mary certainly also finds Jesus." So do you want to find Jesus? Then we look to Mary because Mary always points us to Jesus. I want you to consider the very first Advent journey. And we look to the scriptures and we see the wise men. I think they were the ones that first really entered into Advent. And what did they do? They they saw something up in the sky, a star, a sign. And they leave family. They leave friends. They leave what is familiar. They go to a distant land. This is a journey. the first advent journey and what do they find? They find Mary and Jesus. Mary is with Jesus. That's who they find. This points us to the reality of a true advent journey. We are always going to find Jesus with Mary. And so again, it makes sense to look at Mary in apparitions and say, "What is she revealing and telling us about Jesus?" Now, I know there's going to be some people who, and they always say this, Janelle, we don't have to believe in private revelation. That's true. It's not part of the deposit of faith. It's private revelation. And so, if you're don't want to do this, you're like, "This is private revelation. I don't need to believe this." That's fine. This series is not for you. But if you love our lady and you have an interest in what has she been saying to us, what are the warnings she has been giving us? time after time after time, then this is for you because it will lead you to Jesus. I think about the wise men when they looked up into the sky, they saw a star. They weren't the only people to see that star. So, everyone saw, but there was only a couple who were seekers. And so, that's really what the Advent journey is. We We're seekers. We want to come to Jesus and we come to Jesus through Mary because Jesus came into the world through Mary and so it is fitting that we go back to Jesus through the means by which he came and that is Mary. St. Alonsus said Jesus is never found but with and through Mary. He seeks Jesus in vain who does not look for him with Mary. some strong words from the doctor of the church St. Alas. He's saying we seek Jesus in vain if we do not seek him with Mary. Um something to consider. There there was a type of a concern currently right now within the church that we have elevated Mary to a certain position that somehow distracts us from Jesus. Um I I don't understand this because the only reason that Mary has been elevated is because God has elevated her up. You know, Mary was conceived without sin because God chose to do this. This was a gift to her. She remained sinless her entire life, not because of her own merits, but because this was a gift to her from God. She was assumed body and soul into heaven, not because of her own merits, but because God did this. This was her gift. She's crowned queen of heaven, not because of her own merits, but again, this is a gift to her from God. She's the mother of God, not because of her own self and her own goodness, but because God saw it fitting to elevate her to this place. And now she enjoys a unique position above all other created beings. No one else can say they are the mother of God. So I don't quite understand the concern that is floating within the current church culture that we have elevated Mary to a certain position. Now we don't elevate Mary. God does for his glory. I think St. Maxmillian KBY said we can never love Mary too much. We can never love her more than Jesus did. Yes. Mhm. Consoling words. Think about all the different uh Marian shrines around the world. Why are they there? largely because people have a devotion to Mary and sometimes they are specifically inspired because of a Marian apparition. St. John Paul II said the history of Christian piety teaches that Mary is the way which leads to Christ and that filial devotion to her takes nothing from intimacy with Jesus. Indeed, it increases it and leads to the highest levels of perfection. The countless Marian shrines throughout the world testified to the marvels wrought by grace through the intercession of Mary, mother of the Lord and our mother. Do you have any? Sure. I'm going to say it's going to be great. Just imagine how much we're going to get to learn about our mother. Yeah, I believe that to be true. Yeah. Uh important though as we do this video. We're actually not done the series. So, please pray for us because this is a huge undertaking to be able to keep up with the videos just before we release them to you. So, please pray for us. We we would greatly greatly appreciate that. To join though, you can head over to adventaily.com. That's our website. Uh this way you can get the emails every week. Uh sorry, every day. So, Monday through Friday, we will be sending you an email each day on a different Marin apparition. We're going to double up on a couple of them cuz some of them deserve more time. On Friday, Father Christino will be joining us to share about some aspect of Advent and he is going to touch specifically on one um apparition that he has personal experience with. And in the email, there'll be a link to the rosary because we really encourage everyone to pray a daily rosary this advent. Yeah. So, that email will contain the video uh the rosary every day, Friday, 5 days a week. Lastly, can you please tell people about this? Um, we're just just two people here now. We have Matthew, our editor, behind. He's going to be working really hard. You can pray for him as well. But help us get the word out. Uh, point them to the URL, aaily.com. Oh, did we mention it's free? So, there's no charge. Okay, this is all free and it's free because of you, our supporters. Without you, we can't do this. You're helping us make Jesus known. And so, we want to thank you. But please share this opport opportunity. Adventaily.com. Sign up there. I think that's everything. It's everything. Okay. So, we start December 1st.
